| The Classtiques Rod & Custom Club was started in the fall of 1979. The first official meeting was held in January of 1980. There were 19 perspective members. The first President was Tom Huber, Vice President was Roger Schmitt, Secretary was Mel Mortvedt and Treasurer was Roger Barth. Prairie Chariots was the first name selected by the club, but by the February meeting it was changed to the Classtiques. Club membership is limited to 35 members. Over the last 20 years there have been a total of 80 members.(this includes the current 30 members) The Classtiques host a yearly Rod Run in June and weekly Cruise Nights at Scotty's Drive-in during the summer on Wednesday Nights. |
